If you're willing to take a quick 25-minute drive you can enjoy a day at the beach with friends. Muizenberg beach has beautiful views, putt-putt, water slides, as well as smaller swimming pools for children. You can spend your Saturday surfing or if you're feeling adventurous, take a drive to explore the surrounding picture-perfect towns like Simon's Town or Kalk Bay. If you get hungry while you're off exploring the area, there are many wonderful restaurants to choose from.
